Job Scope:
Coating Superintendent will be an integral part of the production team in the Department. His duties will be to liaise with the EPC division for all coating-related EPC Enquiries, Planning and Execution.

Job responsibilities:

- Perform duties as instructed by Department head.
- Liaise with EPC division to understand project specification, pre-requisites and provide necessary support / feedback for bidding/tendering.
- Review Client specification and carry out necessary gap analysis and provide feedback to EPC division.
- Carry out site visit/ Offshore visit to identify the scope /requirements and to prepare initial execution plan.
- Carryout corrosion assessment survey and define scope.
- Liaise with Paint manufacturers for defining coating specification.
- Liaise with local authorities where the vessel/ structure will be deployed for defining coating specification.
- Experience in corrosion assessment surveys.

Requirement:

- More than 15 years working experience in EPC company as lead in Coating section which undertakes New build/Conversion / offshore projects. / 8 years experience as corrosion specialist.
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- NACE Corrosion Specialist or Equivalent / NACE- O-CAT / S-CAT or equivalent.
- OPITO approved offshore & Onshore safety training.
- Certified Insulation and PFP inspector.

**Salary**: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
