We’re looking for a Construction Accountant to join our team As a Construction Accountant, you will be responsible for managing construction costs, preparing financial reports, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a background in accounting and a passion for construction, we want to hear from you

**Construction Accountant Duties**:

- Review project bids and estimates to ensure accurate price quotes and project scheduling
- Prepare and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly reports and statements
- Prepare and file tax reports
- Control inventory, purchasing, and disposal of supplies
- Maintain all financial records including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and manage billings

**Construction Accountant Responsibilities**:

- Assign cost to specified projects and calculate project cost and revenue
- Review contractors’ bills for accuracy and completeness, and approve payment requests
- Process invoices, requisitions, and purchase orders
- Review, approve, and process payroll, expense reports, and time cards
- Research and resolve invoice and billing disputes with contractors
- Audit all accounts against contractual terms, budgets, and time schedules
- Review and approve vendor invoices and subcontractor bills
- Maintain files on general ledger and assets
- Maintain files on contracts, warranties, insurance policies
- Prepare reports as necessary

**Requirements And Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration with concentration in accounting
- 2+ years accounting experience in construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting, including cost controls, job costing, and profit and loss accounting
- Ability to understand complex billing and job costing concepts
- Arabic Speaking is added advantage

**Salary will be discussed upon interview.**

**Salary**: From AED2,500.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Contracting Accounting: 2 years (required)
