You will be working as Product Marketing Manager and will be part of Electrification Business Area for Smart building division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible to define, plan, implement, and adapt the global product strategies of assigned product lines, according to value propositions to support local sales. Support the local sales organization, to achieve volume, quality, and quantitative targets of assigned product lines in a profitable way as well as to lead, develop and coach the product marketing team on various aspects such as product portfolio, customers and the competitors.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Plan the launch of new products and releases according to the local product roadmap and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan. Prepare launch packages and tools, customized for local needs which includes the training materials, technical catalogues, pricelists, brochures, sales guides, presentations, articles, press releases, web-based tools and competitor product comparisons etc.
- Manage the local product life cycle and local product road map and assist with business planning, budgeting and forecasting of the assigned product portfolio. Support Global Product Management team to gather, identify and anticipate the local customer requirements and expectations.
- Develop local go-to-market product marketing strategies, including defining and communicating of product value propositions, product positioning and communications to local sales teams. Build strategic partnerships with customers and channel partners, maintain contact with key customers and industry associations and gather and internalize customer feedback to understand and analyze the requirements.
- Provide input to integrate customer needs into product roadmap, and to generate innovative solutions for future needs throughout product life cycle, reports and analyses on market figures, general economy trend, customer opportunities, competitors, market strategies and activities, competitor’s price tracking, market segment size etc to the sales team.
- Coordinate market or product analysis with the sales team on customer research, market conditions, market share, competitor data and product benchmarking. Anticipate the evolution and future of the industry to enhance competitiveness.
- Perform pricing analysis including competitor’s comparison, developing regular price lists, etc and decide on the price strategy based on the product value proposition to position it in the local market and to maximize profitability along with Local Sales Manager and review product profitability and initiate corrective actions.
- Lead the team and work to improve cross-collaboration and knowledge sharing and drive customer education regarding the products, tools, services, and other ABB offerings. Train and communicate the product’s benefits and features in a creative way.
- Undertake the ownership of the product positioning plans and processes, product launch, marketing and communication plans and programs. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics code and ensure the channels and partners are adhering to business ethics, agreements and offers. es as well as environmental responsibilities and report unsafe practices and incidents.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in GCC in Sales and Marketing or Product Marketing, Product Management or Business Development.
- Strong experience and knowledge about Building and Home Automation solutions.
- Ability to train system integrators and end users on the products.
- KNX Certified professional preferred
- Excellent presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
