Track, analyse, and report on the costs of project, including direct costs such as materials and labour as well as indirect costs such as overhead.
- Assist business to minimize costs and maximize profits by providing detailed cost analysis and management reports to help Management make informed decisions about Variation in the project pricing (if any).
- Play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Analyse project costs and inform profit margin to the Management.
- Develop & Implement cost standards for materials and labour.
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
- Prepare and allocate budget for the company and for each department.
- Prepare (monthly, quarterly, and annual) cost forecasts to Finance Manager and Management.
- Analyze inventory valuations, Monitoring cost variance and audit the physical inventory to match with the books of accounts.
- This position will be responsible for finalization of accounts.
- Responsible for summarizing the company financial status by collecting, verifying and posting information and prepare balance sheet, profit, loss and other MIS Reports.

**Requirements and skills**:

- Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures.
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with accounting software. like ERP, SAP.
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail Strong time management skills.
- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
- Effective communication, including writing, speaking and active listening.
- Collaboration and team work.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or ICWA.
