We are in need of one Assistant Artist who will both Assist the Artist and act as the main Artist
Job Description are as follows:
- Decorates cakes and pastries with designs, using icing bag or handmade paper cone: Trims uneven surfaces of cake or cuts and shapes cake to required size, using knife.
- Be able to design figures using available materials (sugar paste etc.)
- Spreads icing between layers and on surfaces of cake, using spatula.
- Tints white icing with food coloring.
- Inserts dye of specific design into tip of bag or paper cone and fills bag or cone with colored icing.
- Forms decorations on flower nail and transfers decorations to cake, using spatula..
- Assists the artist in cooperation with the Pastry Chef to achieve plan profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
- Ensures that all menu items are prepared, portioned according to the company standard, and presented properly in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, according to all established procedures, performance standards, and local health department regulations.
- Monitors and oversees food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce the incidence of risk factors known to cause food borne illness.
- Must be able to perform/assist all functions for all positions in the restaurant if needed.
Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
