Car Driver

Job Summary

The Car Driver is responsible for safely collecting customer vehicles from a testing bay or service area and parking them in designated parking areas for cars. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service to ensure a smooth and efficient vehicle collection and parking process.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Collection
- Drive to the designated testing bay or service area to collect customer vehicles.
- Ensure the proper identification and verification of each customer's vehicle.
- Conduct a visual inspection to check for any pre-existing damages and report them as necessary.
- Follow established safety protocols while entering and starting the vehicle.

2. Safe Driving
- Operate vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and valid driver's license at all times.
- Drive vehicles with care to prevent any accidents, scratches, or damage.

3. Customer Interaction
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers professionally and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Communicate clearly and courteously with customers to ensure a positive experience.

4. Parking and Storage
- Safely maneuver vehicles into designated parking spots, ensuring they are parked securely and without obstruction.
- Organize and maintain an orderly parking area for both cars and bikes.
- Monitor the availability of parking spaces and report any issues to the management.

5. Maintenance and Reporting
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or damage promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle collections, parking assignments, and any incidents that occur during the process.

6. Security and Safety
- Ensure the security of all vehicles under your care.
- Lock vehicles and follow any additional security measures as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of safety equipment and procedures when handling vehicles.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance
- Keep the vehicle collection and parking areas clean and well-maintained.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, cleaning, and organizing.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid UAE light vehicle **automatic and manual** driver's license.
- Valid UAE **bike** driver's license.
- Excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of UAE traffic laws and regulations.
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to conduct vehicle inspections.
- Physical fitness and the ability to walk, stand, and occasionally lift objects.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Working Conditions
- This position typically involves outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- The role may require occasional weekend or evening shifts, depending on operational needs.
- May involve exposure to exhaust fumes, vehicle noises, and other environmental factors.
