**Job Title: Japanese Language Teacher**

**Job Type: Part-time/Full-time**

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver high-quality Japanese language lessons that are engaging, interactive, and tailored to students' needs and proficiency levels.
- Create lesson plans, course materials, and assessments aligned with established curriculum standards.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess students' language skills and provide regular feedback on their progress.
- Provide support and guidance to students in their language learning journey, including addressing their questions and concerns.
- Promote a positive classroom environment that fosters a culture of respect, inclusion, and diversity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the language program.
- Stay updated with developments in language teaching methodologies and incorporate innovative teaching techniques into lessons.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and engage in ongoing professional growth.
- Adhere to the school's policies and procedures, including those related to classroom management, student assessment, and student safety.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Japanese language or related field.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese language.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a language teaching role.
- Familiarity with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and experience in preparing students for language proficiency exams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with teaching tools and technology for language instruction.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
