Nanny duties and responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Create and follow a daily schedule and routine for children
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
- Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress and behaviour
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Maintain a clean and organised play and living space for children

Nanny requirements and qualifications
- Proven experience as a nanny or babysitter
- Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date childcare practices
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations
- Physical stamina to keep up with active children
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional training or certification in early childhood education is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Willingness to undergo a background check and provide references
