**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Fabrication**: Measure, cut, grind, and polish glass to specified sizes and finishes.
- **Assembly**: Assemble glass products based on drawings, blueprints, or specific requirements.
- **Inspection**: Examine completed glass pieces for quality, identifying any defects or inconsistencies.
- **Machinery Operation**: Operate various fabrication equipment (e.g., cutting machines, polishers, grinders) safely and efficiently.
- **Maintenance**: Regularly clean and maintain tools, equipment, and workspace.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety guidelines, including wearing protective gear and following best practices to avoid accidents.
- **Record-Keeping**: Document completed jobs, including measurements, materials used, and any modifications.
- **Collaboration**: Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure accurate fulfillment of project specifications.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in glass fabrication or a related field is preferred.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in using glass fabrication tools (e.g., saws, polishers, drills).
- **Blueprint Reading**: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong focus on precision and quality in all fabrication processes.
- **Safety Awareness**: Knowledge of workplace safety standards, especially in handling glass and machinery.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with specialized glass fabrication techniques, such as tempering, laminating, or insulating glass.
- Familiarity with automated and CNC machinery for glass cutting.
- Certification in fabrication or industrial safety is a plus.

**Working Conditions**
- Requires standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials regularly.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and sharp materials; PPE (personal protective equipment) is mandatory.
- May involve working in temperature-controlled or open workshop environments.

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- GLASS FABRICATION: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- DRIVING LICENCE (preferred)
