Sales & Business Development Manager - Engineering & Project Management

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:Business Development & Sales**
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in public and private sectors.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of engineering consultancy and project management opportunities.
- Lead the preparation of bids, proposals, and commercial submissions in collaboration with technical and design teams.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions to promote the company and build strategic relationships.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, developers, and government entities.
- Develop sales strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
**Client Relationship Management**
- Act as the key point of contact for new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs and translate them into tailored engineering solutions.
- Lead client negotiations, commercial discussions, and contractual agreements.
**Market Intelligence & Strategy**
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Work with senior management to set revenue and growth targets.
- Support marketing and brand positioning strategies.
**Cross-functional Collaboration**
- Coordinate with project managers, technical leads, and design managers to ensure seamless delivery of proposals and projects.
- Provide input into service development based on market demand and client feedback.
- Ensure commercial compliance and alignment with internal governance.
**Required Qualifications & Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering**, **Construction Management**, **Business**, or related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum **8-10 years** of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles within the **engineering consultancy, construction, or project management** industry.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle (design, procurement, execution, handover).
- Proven ability to develop and close B2B deals, especially in infrastructure, buildings, transportation, or energy sectors.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Commercial acumen with experience in contracts, pricing, and risk assessments.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes, RFPs, and prequalification requirements.
- Network of existing clients or partners in the region is highly desirable.
**Preferred Knowledge Areas**:
- Engineering consultancy delivery models (e.g., EPCM, D&B, PMO, owner’s engineer).
- Local and international codes, regulations, and market practices.
- Knowledge of regional infrastructure, construction, or industrial development trends.
- CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proposal management tools.
- Fluency in English; Arabic or other regional languages is a plus.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
