**Job Title: Assistant Buyer**

**Position Overview**: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Buyer to join our procurement team. The Assistant Buyer will play a pivotal role in supporting the purchasing process, from market research and supplier relations to inventory management and order processing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, pricing dynamics, and potential suppliers.
- Assist in the selection and evaluation of suppliers, negotiating terms and agreements to ensure favorable pricing and quality.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies.
- Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and identify opportunities to optimize inventory management processes.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast demand and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Maintain supplier relationships, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function.
- Provide administrative support to the purchasing team as needed, including record-keeping, reporting, and other tasks as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or related role preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management principles, and purchasing best practices.
- Experience with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.
