**Job description**

Heavy Machinery Viqa is operating in Trading of Machines, Heavy Equipment and Recycling Solutions. We provide operation and maintenance services for recycling plants as per client’s requirements. HMV is a service provider for Mining, Quarries, and Recycling. We provide quality Machinery and Equipment as well as outstanding service to our clients.

**Plant Manager General**

The Plant Manager is responsible for the day to day safe and efficient running of the plants on site, including but not limited to all processing lines.

It requires the job holder to co-ordinate resources and liaise with internal key stakeholders to ensure highest asset overall effectiveness without compromising the Viqa quality standards and HSE requirements.

**Main Tasks**

**Budget**
- Plan and prepare annual budget for Board Approval
- Monitor budget on monthly basis and early warning in case of risk of budget overrun

**Manpower**
- Demand requisition to HR for new hires of manpower for Plant Site
- Train, develop and supervise manpower for the required operations
- Assess the performance of manpower (probation period and minimum once per year)
- Coordinate and manage the internal and external employees and labour
- Report manpower overruns or shortfalls

**Inventories**
- Plan required inventories (consumables, spares and logistics) to fulfil the company KPIs
- Coordinate the procurement with the supply-chain department and allow for minim given

**Leadtime**
- Perform inspections of all incoming and outgoing parts and assemblies or delegate that work
- Maintain an inventory of tools and equipment in working conditions

**Operations**
- Manage the operations in processing plants including logistics for incoming and outgoing

materials
- Work preparation of daily and weekly maintenance and cleaning works
- Estimate time required for repair or maintenance of assets
- Instruct the team for daily tasks and monitor the completion
- Check and review operational target achievements
- Act as a technical advisor
- Work closely with other departments
- Cost monitoring and initiate corrective action to avoid cost overrun

**Admin/Reporting**
- Provide weekly performance reports and communicate shortcomings or concerns
- Prepare and execute daily toolbox meetings
- Keep records of daily attendance and sickness of employees and which work is carried out and on which projects

**QHSE**
- Check compliance of final product with quality standards and other requirements
- Promote Health and Safety culture within the site (including truck waiting zone)
- Ensure that the site is kept clean and organized
- Avoid of unnecessary wastage

**Responsibilities**
- Meeting the annual budget and operational KPIs without compromising QHSE
- Zero Incident Policy
- High rate of retention of direct staff
- Compliance with local laws and regulations
