**Responsibilities**:
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Provide counseling on policies and procedures
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Develop training and development programs
- Assist in performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
UAE Laws and Visa Requirements
- Manage the processes in relation to visa-related documentation, including but not limited to employment visas, medicals, labour cards and contracts, residence visas, Emirates IDs and DLAD registrations.
- Take full responsibility for updating the employee and HR & Immigration database to track and follow up ongoing activities.
- Prepare all necessary documentation for the onboarding and off boarding of all employees and monitor to ensure tasks are completed within required timeframes.
- Advise on related laws, restrictions and regulations, procedures and updates on government regulations and initiatives related to the UAE labour law and law governing the employees in the respective Jurisdiction.
- Manage all employee medical insurance and workers compensation requirements.
- Manage all Emiratisation and GCC national pension and employment requirements.
**Requirements**:
- 5 years-10 Years’ experience as a HR manager or similar roles within the UAE.
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Strong ethics and reliability
- BSc/BA in business administration, social studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus
- HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute)
- Experience of defining, implementing, and managing HR policies and procedures.
- Experience in using HR Systems (examples - Oracle, SAP etc)
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrable skills in database management and record keeping
- Excellent knowledge of UAE employment laws and practices
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills (Arabic would be beneficial)
- Demonstrable organizational, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
- Experience in managing individuals within a team.
HR systems and reporting
- Maintain the database and HR Information System, including entering all relevant information and conducting regular audits.
- Provide management with regular reports as agreed and make suggestions of relevant information to support the business.
- Acting as advisor to the firm on all matters relating to Labour & Immigration.
- Maintain HR personnel files, ensuring that all appropriate documents are stored securely, both electronically and in hard copy.
