**Job Summary**:
**Key Skills & Competencies**:
**1. Technical & Industry Knowledge**

**Quality Standards & Compliance**: Familiarity with ISO 9001, API Q1/Q2, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, and other oil & gas regulations.
**Inspection & Testing Procedures**: Experience in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), destructive testing, and welding inspections.
**Materials & Equipment Knowledge**: Understanding of pipelines, pressure vessels, drilling equipment, and refining processes.
**Process Control & Improvement**: Ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement continuous improvement practices.
**HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)**: Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations to ensure workplace safety and compliance.

**2. Management & Leadership Skills**

**Team Supervision**: Supervise and mentor QC inspectors and technicians, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
**Communication & Reporting**: Prepare and present technical reports to management, as well as communicate with stakeholders effectively.
**Problem-Solving & Decision-Making**: Identify quality issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
**Supplier & Vendor Management**: Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

**3. Tools & Software Proficiency**

**Quality Management Systems (QMS)**: Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other QMS platforms.
**Inspection & Testing Tools**: Proficiency with testing tools such as ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), and magnetic particle testing (MPT).
**Data Analysis & Reporting**: Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, or other statistical tools to track quality metrics and generate reports.

**4. Soft Skills**

**Attention to Detail**: Ensuring precise inspections and quality control.
**Time Management**: Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
**Collaboration**: Work closely with engineering, production, and HSE teams to ensure quality standards are met.

**5. Experience & Certifications**

✔ **5-6 years of experience** in quality control or related roles within the oil & gas industry.
✔ **Degree in Engineering** (Mechanical, Petroleum, or Chemical preferred).
✔ **Certifications (preferred)**: AWS CWI, ASNT Level II/III, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, API 510/570/653, Six Sigma Green Belt.
