**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on hydraulic systems in heavy machinery such as **Caterpillar** (385, 350, 345, 330, Dita, C9, C12), **Komatsu** (transmission, hydraulic pumps), **Terex-O&K** (RH30, RH40 excavators), and **Atlas Copco**, **Sandvik**, and **Tamarock** drilling compressors.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic system failures, including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, fittings, and transmission systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, ensuring that all hydraulic and mechanical components are functioning optimally.
- Repair and replace hydraulic parts, transmission systems, and components as necessary, minimizing equipment downtime.
- Install and upgrade hydraulic systems and components for both new and existing equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance work conducted on hydraulic systems.
- Work with other maintenance team members to ensure the smooth and effective operation of all equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**

**Education**:

- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or related field.

**Experience**:

- 3 to 6 years of experience as a Hydraulic Mechanic, particularly with heavy machinery such as **Caterpillar** (385, 350, 345, 330, Dita, C9, C12), **Komatsu** (transmission systems, hydraulic pumps), **Terex-O&K** (RH30, RH40 excavators), and **Atlas Copco**, **Sandvik**, **Tamarock** drilling compressors.
- Proven experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic systems and transmissions in heavy equipment.

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, including transmission systems, and ability to read hydraulic schematics.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools, including those for hydraulic systems and transmissions.
- Expertise in repairing and replacing hydraulic components, such as cylinders, pumps, valves, and transmissions.
- Knowledge of drilling compressor systems, including those by **Atlas Copco**, **Sandvik**, and **Tamarock**.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

**Other Requirements**:

- Ability to work in challenging environments such as outdoor job sites and under various weather conditions.
