**What is this role?**
- Lead and manage the credit risk function, developing and implementing credit risk policies, procedures, and strategies.
- Oversee comprehensive credit risk assessments and underwriting for SME portfolios.
- Continuously refine credit scoring models and enhance underwriting methodologies to ensure prudent risk management aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and monitor the portfolio, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of risks.
- Collaborate closely with technology teams to leverage data analytics and AI-driven insights for improved risk evaluation and decision-making.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership, contributing to FlapKap’s overall risk management strategy.

**Requirements**:

- 10-15 years of experience in credit risk management within the UAE banking industry, specifically in SME credit.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing credit risk policies, scoring models, and underwriting frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills, experience with data-driven risk assessment tools, and familiarity with technology-driven credit risk solutions.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
