**Business Analyst**

**About the Job**

We are seeking a seasoned **Business Analyst** with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience to lead the analysis, documentation, and delivery of business requirements. This role will involve collaborating with stakeholders, interpreting data trends, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

As a **Business Analyst**, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing data, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure business goals are met through effective solutions. Your expertise in modeling techniques, project management methodologies, and stakeholder management will be critical in driving successful projects from initiation to completion.

**Responsibilities**:

- Elicit and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Analyze data to identify trends, support decision-making, and deliver actionable insights.
- Develop and utilize business process models, UML diagrams, and use case diagrams to visualize requirements and processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams during the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), create test plans, and ensure quality assurance for system changes.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including process workflows, configuration notes, and user guides.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and provide regular updates.
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and JIRA for data analysis and project tracking.
- Support and optimize Student Information Systems like Ellucian Banner and Oracle Fusion ERP for the Higher Education industry.

**Skills**

**Essential Skills**:

- Expertise in requirements gathering, data analysis, and business process modeling.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, JIRA, and Lucid Chart.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data.
- Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance practices.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile Analysis Certification (AAC).
- Domain knowledge in the Higher Education sector and familiarity with systems like Ellucian Banner and Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Excellent documentation skills and the ability to create user guides and configuration notes.

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
