At Children’s House Montessori the Classroom Assistant understands and promotes the nursery’s mission, vision, objectives and policies both within and outside the immediate nursery community.

The Classroom Assistant supports the Montessori Class Teacher ensuring compliance with appropriate policies, procedures and best practices to ensure all children have access to first class care and education.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Attend appropriate training relevant to your roles and responsibilities
- Be a positive role model
- Support the Teachers in all aspects of the day to day running of the classroom
- Support and raise the ethos and aims of the Nursery
- Maintain the highest quality standards within the nursery as per ministry requirements
- Adhere to all Nursery Policies and Procedures
- Enforce all health and safety policies and procedures as per ministry requirements
- Liaise daily with the Teachers over daily classroom routines
- Attend classroom meetings with Teachers and Nursery Director as required
- Adhere to the Montessori & EYFS curricula to ensure all children’s individual needs are being met
- Work closely with your team to promote a positive working environment
- Promote a positive, stimulating environment for all children
- Support the Teacher to ensure that children’s care records are current, relevant and informative for parents and visible to parents at any time
- Communicate effectively with all team members
- Ensure that you adhere to the ratios within your classroom at all times and communicate to your Teacher when any extra support is needed
- Build strong relationships with children, parents and carers
- Create an atmosphere of harmony amongst all staff, children and parents
- Attend all in-house Nursery staff training courses and monthly staff meetings

Children's House Montessori in Khalifa City is looking for a talented, qualified and experienced Classroom Assistant to join our teaching team as soon as possible.
