Interventional Cardiology Consultant Atcom

Our client is one of the top-notch busiest private hospitals in Dubai, UAE that is looking for a western trained interventional cardiologist (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland or Australia) to join their team of medical professionals. You will work with patients to provide a full range of heart and cardiovascular services and treatments. You will perform various tests, make diagnoses, provide treatment plans and options, and work with other physicians and surgeons to treat patients’ heart and/or cardiovascular disorders.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.
- Prescribing tests, treatments, and/or surgery, when necessary.
- Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests and/or treatments prescribed, and test results.
- Performing tests, when needed, to check the health of patients’ hearts and/or cardiovascular systems.
- Interpreting test results to determine how effectively the heart and/or cardiovascular system is functioning.
- Using medical imaging equipment, such as CT and MRI scanners, to diagnose and treat heart and/or cardiovascular conditions.
- Assisting and/or performing surgery which may include complex surgical interventions that require a team of medical professionals.
- Prescribing medication to treat heart and/or cardiovascular disease.
- Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
- Training and providing educational support to junior staff, when necessary.

**WORKING CONDITION**:

- Working Hours: 48 Hours / Week
- Working Days: 6 Days / Week
- Shifts: Straight Shifts, Morning and/or Afternoon Shifts
- Contract Period 3 Years Renewable
- Probation Period 3 Months
- On Call Duties: Divided per the number of Consultants

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:
**Medical School**: MD, MBBS, MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

**Postgraduate Training**: Completion of specialty qualification **Internal Medicine**

**Fellowship**:Cardiology / Interventional Cardiology

**Clinical Work Experience**:Not Less than 3 years post Specialty Qualification

**Qualifications**:Completion of specialty qualification** Internal Medicine / Cardiology / Interventional Cardiology **as per the Recognized Specialty Certificate table Below
- ** Australia/New Zealand**: Fellowship of the Royal College/Colleges recognized by the Australian Medical Council AMC Note: Fellowship should be by Exam, not by endorsement or election
- ** Canada**: Specialization Certificate of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
- ** Ireland**: Certificate of Satisfactory Completion of Specialist Training (CSCST)
- ** United Kingdom**: Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) OR Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
- ** United States of America**:American Board Certificates issued by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)

**SALARY**:

- Gross Monthly Salary: AED 65,000 - 75,000 (Varies Based on Qualifications, Years of Experience and Clinical Privileges) Gross Salary is inclusive basic salary, housing and transportation.
