As a Steel Fabricator in our factory, you will be responsible for the fabrication of custom metal furniture, including tables, chairs, bed frames, shelving units, and other bespoke designs. You will work from detailed drawings, sketches, and customer specifications to bring designs to life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fabricate steel and other metals to create decorative furniture pieces, ensuring precision and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design plans for custom furniture.
- Operate various metal fabrication machinery such as welders, grinders, cutting tools, and bending machines.
- Measure, cut, and shape metal accurately using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform MIG/TIG welding to join materials, ensuring clean and secure welds.
- Finish and polish fabricated products to meet the desired aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, wearing protective gear and adhering to shop safety protocols.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Steel Fabricator, preferably in decorative or custom furniture manufacturing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications.
- Experience operating fabrication tools and machinery, including welders, grinders, and cutting equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and an artistic approach to metalworking.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to custom project requirements.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with stainless steel, brass, and other decorative metals.
- Knowledge of modern and classic furniture design trends.
- Previous experience in a custom fabrication or furniture-making environment.
