The **Butcher** is responsible for cutting, trimming, preparing, and displaying meat products for sale. They ensure that meat products are fresh, of high quality, and presented in a manner that maximizes sales and customer satisfaction. Butchers may work in grocery stores, specialty meat shops, or processing plants.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat and poultry.
- Grind and prepare meats for sausages, patties, and other meat products.
- Ensure all products are properly labelled and packaged.
- Maintain proper portion control and consistent weight standards.
- Inspect meat products for defects, bruises, or blemishes and remove excess fat.
- Ensure the freshness and quality of all meat products.
- Follow proper handling and storage guidelines to prevent contamination and spoilage.
- Assist customers with their selections and provide information about different cuts and cooking methods.
- Take special orders and prepare custom cuts based on customer specifications.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including all equipment and display cases.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper use of knives and other tools.
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent injuries and accidents.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a butcher or meat cutter.
- Knowledge of meat preparation techniques, cutting tools, and equipment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with specialty cuts and value-added products (e.g., marinated meats, stuffed roasts).
- Immediate joiner is preferred
