Supervisor - Supermarket

The role of a supervisor involves overseeing a range of staff within the organization. A supervisor is responsible for the successful day-to-day running of the outlet, organizing staff schedules and delegating duties. A supervisor is expected to have a smart appearance and possess strong leadership qualities.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Completes floor operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees their work and following up on work results.

2. Manage retail staff, including cashiers and sales people working on the floor.

3. Ensure pricing is correct.

4. Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers.

5. Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed.

6. Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards.

7. Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock.

8. Follow up the LPO, Purchase Return, Damages and consolidation of selling price.

9. Controlling and assuring the staff existence at the selling area and aware of peak and rush hours.

10. Need to monitor employee performance and deliver constructive criticism when necessary and ensures all staffs at the section receives quality training for better sales progress.

11. Must handle customer complaints and work directly with customers to resolve outstanding issues.

12. Preparing reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.

13. Contributes to stores financial growth through driving sales, managing expenses and implementing plans for increased profitability.

14. Must escalate the issue to the direct manager and work with that individual to bring the problem to a close.

15. Must work with the direct manager to terminate ineffective employees or to promote successful ones.

16. Must work with departmental or section sales staffs to coordinate activities, establish promotions and achieve target set by the management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
