**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair various types of piping systems, including water lines, pumps, and irrigation pipelines, ensuring proper water flow for farm irrigation.
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of irrigation systems for optimal water distribution across the farm.
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems, including issues such as leaks, clogged pipes, valve malfunctions, and pump failures.
- Supervise and train a team of technicians or laborers responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the irrigation systems.
- Ensure compliance with water conservation practices, sustainable irrigation techniques, and local agricultural regulations.
- Monitor water usage and system efficiency, implementing improvements to reduce waste and improve crop yields.
- Collaborate with farm managers and agronomists to align irrigation schedules with crop needs, weather conditions, and soil moisture levels.
- Maintain detailed records of irrigation system installations, repairs, maintenance, and water usage.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems and associated equipment to ensure they are functioning at full capacity.
- Manage irrigation system inventory, ordering parts and supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted system operation.
- Assist in developing and implementing new irrigation strategies to increase water efficiency and crop production.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in Pipe Fitting, Irrigation Systems, or Water Management.
- Familiarity with smart irrigation systems, automated controllers, or weather-based irrigation management systems.
- Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and water conservation methods.
- Previous experience working on an agricultural farm
