A global consultancy is looking for an Energy Economist to join a team focusing on regulation and policy economics in the Middle East region. The firm already has well established economic advisory practices in the UK, France, and Germany, and they are now expanding in Dubai.

The economic advisory practices focus on economics and finance projects, covering the Financial Services, TMT, Transport, Water, and Energy sectors, and is part of the firm’s global consulting network. It is an extremely dynamic practice area with a unique blend of skills in econometrics, policy evaluation, macroeconomic modelling, regulatory economics, and competition analysis.

**Role overview**

As an Energy Economist, you will be responsible for managing projects, business development activities, maintaining client relationships, and providing guidance and mentoring to junior staff. This exciting opportunity allows you to work on a variety of projects within regulatory economics and to work in a collaborative and supportive consultancy environment.

**Required Skills**:

- BSc and MSc in Economics
- Experience of working in an economics consultancy or regulator
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
