**Job Purpose**:
To manage and maintain inventory of veterinary medicines, equipment, and supplies in a warehouse environment. Ensure efficient storage, handling, and timely dispatch of items while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and veterinary regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Receive, inspect, and verify veterinary supplies and equipment against invoices or purchase orders.
- Store medicines and supplies in accordance with temperature and safety requirements.
- Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory management systems.
- Monitor stock levels and notify procurement team of low inventory items.
- **Storage and Organization**:

- Ensure items are correctly labeled, stored, and organized to prevent contamination or misuse.
- Implement First Expiry First Out (FEFO) and First In First Out (FIFO) systems, especially for medicines and perishables.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse at all times.
- **Distribution & Dispatch**:

- Prepare and package veterinary supplies for distribution to clinics, farms, or customers.
- Ensure accuracy in order picking, packing, and dispatch.
- **Record Keeping & Compliance**:

- Maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure storage practices comply with veterinary regulations and health & safety standards.
- Assist in audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
- **Coordination & Communication**:

- Coordinate with suppliers, procurement officers, and delivery teams.
- Communicate effectively with veterinary staff and management regarding inventory needs or issues.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum 1 years of experience in warehouse/storekeeping, (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of veterinary medicines and handling requirements.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and MS Office tools.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift).

**Working Conditions**:

- Indoor warehouse environment with occasional lifting and carrying of supplies.
- May involve handling temperature-sensitive or hazardous materials with appropriate PPE.
