**IT Compliance Officer**

**About the Job**

The **IT Compliance Officer** is responsible for ensuring that the organization's IT operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. The role involves developing and enforcing policies, conducting audits, and managing risk to ensure adherence to compliance frameworks and protect organizational integrity.

The IT Compliance Officer oversees the development, implementation, and enforcement of IT compliance policies and controls. This role requires conducting regular audits and assessments of IT systems, monitoring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with auditors to address gaps. The officer works closely with various departments to mitigate risks and ensure continuous adherence to relevant laws and industry requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards, such as **GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS**, and **ISO 27001**.
- Conduct regular **audits and assessments** of IT systems, processes, and controls.
- Develop, implement, and enforce **compliance policies and controls** to meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a comprehensive **risk management framework**, identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
- Collaborate with internal and external **auditors** to address findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Provide compliance training and awareness programs for employees.
- Maintain detailed documentation of compliance activities, including audit reports and risk assessments.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and recommend adjustments to policies and processes accordingly.

**Skills**

**Essential Skills**
- Strong knowledge of **compliance frameworks** (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
- Experience conducting **compliance audits** and assessments of IT systems.
- Proficiency in **risk management practices** and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating compliance gaps.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and auditors.

**Desirable Skills**
- Certifications such as **CISA, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor**.
- Familiarity with compliance tools like **ServiceNow GRC** or **RSA Archer**.
- Experience providing **compliance training** and managing awareness programs.

Pay: AED15,000.00 per month
