Teacher of Business Studies and Economics

Our forward thinking and progressive British Curriculum School in Dubai is looking for an ‘Outstanding’ Teacher of Business and Economics, offering GCSE, and A Level courses, our school offers a truly international environment for our students, with a distinctly British flavour. The secondary and Post 16 phases of our school are on their way to ‘Very Good’ as per the DSIB Framework, we are looking to recruit a dynamic, passionate teacher who will join us on our road to ‘Outstanding’.

We are looking for a Teacher of Business and Economics who:

- Has a undergraduate degree or major in Business Studies/Economics
- Has a PGCE/B.Ed in Commerce/Business Studies/Economics
- Has experience of teaching in a British School/British Curriculum School
- Has experience of teaching AQA, Edexcel or equivalent British exam boards
- Has evidence of ‘Outstanding’ teaching practice, or the ability to become outstanding
- Is confident in planning engaging, student led lessons
- Has the ability to use classroom technology to enrich the learning experience of our students
- Is an excellent team player, willing to contribute significantly to the department
- Is willing to make a contribution to the extra curricular life of the school
