As a Junior Chemist in a construction manufacturing company, your duties and responsibilities may include:
**Conducting chemical analysis**: Perform various laboratory tests and experiments to analyze the composition, properties, and behavior of construction materials, such as cement, concrete, adhesives, coatings, and sealants.

**Quality control**:Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure that construction materials meet industry standards and specifications. This involves conducting regular inspections, tests, and audits to monitor product quality and identify any deviations or non-compliance issues.

**Documentation and reporting**:Maintain accurate records of laboratory tests, experiments, and research findings. Prepare detailed reports summarizing the results and observations, and communicate the findings to the relevant stakeholders within the company.

**Equipment maintenance**: Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and cleanliness of laboratory equipment and instruments used for chemical analysis. Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling hazardous substances and operating laboratory equipment.

**Compliance with regulations**: Stay updated with relevant regulations and industry standards related to construction materials and chemical testing. Ensure that all activities in the laboratory adhere to safety, health, and environmental regulations.

**Collaboration and communication**:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, engineering, and quality assurance, to address any issues related to material performance, product development, or quality control. Communicate effectively with team members and provide support as needed.

**Continuous learning**:Stay informed about advancements and emerging trends in the field of construction materials and chemistry. Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training programs to enhance your knowledge and skills.

**Problem-solving**: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to product performance or quality. Analyze data, conduct root cause analysis, and propose appropriate corrective actions to address any identified problems.

**Safety and compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols, guidelines, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Properly handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals and materials in accordance with applicable regulations.
