Responsible for:

- Creating and controlling piping engineering drawings for construction based on either or all of P&IDs / Client drawings/calculations/International standards/written or verbal instructions provided by piping engineers.
- Training, monitoring, controlling and checking of drawings produced by group of draughtsmen in line with project and department requirements as instructed by Piping engineers.

Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare engineering drawings/documents from inputs/specifications to meet project targets.
- Prepare 3-D models in compliance to department’s 3-D modelling procedure, attend model reviews as required and carry out detailed production designs. In addition, to perform the role of project CAD administrator from piping side for that particular project.
- Maintain and create component libraries in modelling software. Perform material codification.
- Decide pipe routing as per available space, to meet functional/safety logic/project requirements/regulations relevant to the project.
- Produce pipe fabrication isometrics, support fabrication and piping arrangement drawings and assist piping engineers for making MTOs.
- On-board or site visits for site measurements, 3-D scanning and based on those inputs piping/supports routing finalization for new piping and re-routing of existing piping for conversion/repair or RIAP projects.

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum 5 years of working experience in Shipyard.**:

- **Experience in producing engineering drawings for Ships and Offshore structures.**:

- **Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline.**:

- Proficient with software such as AutoCAD 2013 (2d & 3d) or later version Cadmatic Outfitting, Foran, PDMS
- Producing engineering drawings in 2D mode and extraction of production engineering drawings from 3D for ships and offshore structures.
- Familiar with codes and standards (ASME, NORSOK, IACS, DIN, EN, JIS)

**Salary**: Up to AED8,000.00 per month
