Immediate requirement

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, schematics, and plans using AutoCAD software.

Interpret design concepts and engineering sketches to produce clear and accurate drawings.

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.

Modify and revise drawings as required by client or team feedback.

Ensure that all drawings adhere to relevant standards, codes, and guidelines.

Maintain and update drawing files and documentation for all projects.

Perform calculations and measurements to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Assist in preparing material take-offs and bill of quantities from drawings.

Provide support for on-site installation and construction teams by clarifying design queries.

Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD features and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks is a plus).

Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and principles.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering diagrams.

Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction methods.

Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Basic understanding of structural, electrical, and/or mechanical design is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting or a similar role (experience in specific industries such as construction, manufacturing, or engineering is preferred).

Work Environment

Office-based with occasional site visits, depending on project requirements.

Flexible work hours may be required to meet deadlines.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
