**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Learning & Development to join the pre-opening team our ultra
- luxury hotel. Manager, Learning & Development will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing of Kerzner and One&Only brand training programs that support the hotel's pre and post opening objectives and goals.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop training programs for across all departments of the hotel
- Develop and implement pre-opening training schedules inculding but not limited to: onboarding, standard curriculums, systems and trial runs
- Conduct training sessions and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs
- Coordinate with department heads to identify training needs and areas for improvement
- Maintain training records and monitor employee progress
- Ensure compliance with all hotel and industry standards
- Assist with the recruitment process, including interviewing and onboarding new employees
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Manage the Learning & Development budget

**Key Skills and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel
- Previous experience in a pre-opening hotel would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of training and development practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
