**Job Title: IT and Technical Assistant cum Driver**
**Location**: Embassy of the Republic of Maldives, Abu Dhabi, UAE

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**IT & Technical Duties**:

- Manage and maintain Embassy’s IT infrastructure including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and network systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot:

- **Servers** (basic admin tasks and backups)
- **PABX systems** and telecommunication hardware
- **CCTV systems** and NVR configurations
- **Network components** including routers, switches, and access points
- Provide user support for Embassy staff on IT-related issues.
- Perform basic handy works and minor maintenance tasks within the Embassy.
- Maintain records of IT inventory, warranties, software licenses, and backup routines.

**Driving & Support Duties**:

- Provide safe and timely transport for Embassy staff and guests, including high-level officials.
- Ensure Embassy vehicles are maintained in proper condition and serviced on time.
- Familiarity with UAE roads and traffic rules is essential.

**Requirements**:

- Valid UAE **Light Vehicle Driving License**.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, CCTV, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with UAE geography, routes, and local driving practices.
- Ability to carry out small maintenance and general technical work in an office setting.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Must be organized, trustworthy, and able to handle tasks independently.
