**Job Title**:Workshop Supervisor**

**Reporting to**: Operations and Facility Manager

**Nature of the Position**:Fixed Term contract**

**Location**:JAFZA Dubai UAE

**Role Overview**

The job holder is responsible for the day to day operations of the workshop within different product lines including but not limited to, Pressure Control Equipment, Downhole tools, Thru tubing tools, Well Testing and Hydraulic control modules. The job holder must have a similar background and strong experience in problem solving through the different product lines, providing support and training where required to the workshop personnel.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Providing support to and regularly communicating, both formally and informally, with line manager to ensure highest levels of service in workshop are achieved and expectations are understood
  • Managing, motivating and leading the workshop team, providing support and guidance to the team members and ensuring they are able to fulfil their responsibilities and meet their deadlines
  • Attending daily/weekly operations meetings to communicate priorities, feedback and delays to ensure that all tasks are in hand and all jobs are on track to meet their shipping dates
  • Providing training and assessment of the workshop team to help grow the knowledge and experience of the team
  • Delegating tasks to the workshop team members’ strengths
  • Scheduling jobs to suit delivery dates as quoted by the Sales department and relayed by the Operations department
  • Identifying and resolving operational issues promptly and promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Serving as liaison between workshop staff and upper management
  • Working closely with Engineering, QA and Logistics teams to ensure seamless operations
  • The job holder will be working in an active and demanding environment, often having to work to strict deadlines/turnaround times whilst balancing a variety of tasks on a daily basis. Risk management is an integral part of the job with decisions needing to be made in a timely manner, in consultation with line manager where necessary

**Qualifications/Skills and Experience**

Relevant PCE and slickline tools experience

Familiarity with Hunting product lines

Relevant and proven experience in a similar role

Supervisory training

Knowledge and experience of an ERP system, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365

Highly proficient in spoken and written English

Valid UAE Driving Licence is desirable.
