**Employment Type**: FULL TIME

**Job Purpose**:
To ensure effective product planning, placement, inventory management, and promotional execution for FMCG goods across retail outlets or distribution channels. The Merchandiser will contribute to revenue growth by optimizing stock levels, product visibility, and sales performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product & Category Management**:

- Maintain and update product assortments across FMCG categories (e.g., personal care, beverages, household items, snacks).
- Coordinate with category teams to introduce new products and phase out underperforming SKUs.
- **Vendor Coordination**:

- Work with suppliers/distributors for procurement, order fulfillment, and promotional planning.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with delivery and quality standards.
- **Stock & Inventory Management**:

- Ensure optimal stock levels in stores/warehouses to avoid stockouts or overstock.
- Coordinate replenishment cycles and manage aging inventory.
- **Visual Merchandising & Planogram Compliance**:

- Ensure proper shelf placement, branding, and display as per planograms.
- Conduct regular store visits to audit merchandising standards and shelf hygiene.
- **Sales & Promotion Execution**:

- Implement trade promotions and seasonal offers.
- Analyze sales uplift from campaigns and recommend improvements.
- **Data Analysis & Reporting**:

- Track sales, stock turnover, and gross margin performance.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on merchandising KPIs and present to management.

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field / Intermediate is also acceptable
- 1-4 years of experience in merchandising, preferably within FMCG.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Ability to travel frequently to retail locations.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with FMCG industry trends and consumer behavior.
- Experience with merchandising software or planogram tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
