**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- **Bookkeeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, monitoring variances and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
- **Tax Compliance**: Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
- **Audit Support**: Coordinate and assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
- **Financial Analysis**: Conduct financial analysis and reporting to management, highlighting trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency within the finance department.
- **Ad Hoc Projects**: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a General Accountant, Staff Accountant, or similar role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to handle complex financial data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Understands manufacturing firms operations
- Communication skills
