**Job Summary**:
The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and supervising the sales team. The Supervisor will be accountable for maintaining and enhancing the store's reputation and sales performance, while ensuring that all store policies, procedures, and goals are met.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays, to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and build brand loyalty.
- Train, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and uphold store standards.
- Ensure that all employees are following company policies and procedures, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security measures.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment for all employees by fostering teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and take necessary actions to increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations, retail health and safety standards.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Implement and drive the company’s promotional strategies and marketing campaigns to increase store sales and customer engagement.
- Establish and cultivate positive relationships with the head office teams, regularly provide constructive feedback and suggestions to enhance the store's performance.
- Maintain accurate records of store transactions, sales, inventory, and expenses and prepare reports for management as required.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is an advantage.
- Minimum 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of pet care and animal welfare standards is an advantage
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
