**DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR ROLE**

**Responsibilities**:

- Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role.
- Design and implement a database per end users' information needs and views.
- Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in the appropriate format and in a timely manner.
- Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.
- Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
- Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users.
- Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
- Build the data infrastructure required for optimal ETL of data from a wide variety of data sources.
- Need advanced query experience so that developers can take it and put it into their codes

**Requirements and skills**:

- Proven working experience as a Database Administrator
- **Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and Microsoft SQL, advanced query on both Microsoft SQL and MongoDB.**:

- **Good knowledge of NoSQL (semi-structured or no structured data).**:

- He/she should work with the team and taking care of databases, in the sense to advise for the design perspective (corrective measures for the current setup) and monitoring are the plus
- Familiarity with Database Design, documentation, and coding
- Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools
- Familiarity with programming languages API
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
- BS degree in a computer discipline or relevant certification.

**Salary**: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
