**About the Role**

A leading bank in Qatar is seeking a **Temenos Techno-Functional Expert** to drive core banking transformation, optimize system capabilities, and bridge business needs with technical delivery. This role demands a strong blend of **Temenos functional knowledge, hands-on technical expertise, and banking domain mastery** to support mission-critical banking operations and digital modernization.

**Key Responsibilities**

You will serve as a strategic and hands-on expert across Temenos platforms by:

- Designing, configuring, and optimizing **Temenos (T24 / Transact)** modules
- Translating **business banking requirements** into scalable technical solutions
- Leading **core banking enhancements, integrations, and upgrades**:

- Supporting **retail, corporate, treasury, lending, and payments** workflows
- Managing **interfaces with digital channels, middleware, APIs, and data platforms**:

- Troubleshooting production issues and driving root-cause resolution
- Collaborating with **business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and regulators**:

- Ensuring **security, compliance, performance, and operational resilience**:

- Supporting **UAT, releases, documentation, and change management**

**Required Technical & Functional Skills**

**Temenos & Core Banking**
- Strong experience in **Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact**:

- Expertise in **Temenos AA (Arrangement Architecture)**, Accounts, Loans, Payments, Deposits, or Treasury
- Experience with **Temenos configuration, version upgrades, and module customization**

**Technical Stack**
- **Java / JBC / Infobasic / Python** (or related Temenos scripting)
- API integrations, ESB / Middleware, Web Services
- SQL, Oracle, or equivalent database platforms
- Experience with **batch jobs, OFS messaging, and real-time interfaces**

**Banking Domain Knowledge**
- Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Lending, Treasury, Trade Finance, or Payments
- Regulatory awareness and operational risk considerations
- Strong grasp of **end-to-end banking processes and customer journeys**

**Soft Skills & Leadership Traits**
- Ability to **bridge business and technology** with clarity
- Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in **fast-paced banking environments**:

- Ownership mindset with high accountability
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or functional analysts is a plus

**Preferred Experience**
- **6-12+ years** in Core Banking / Temenos roles
- Prior experience in **Tier-1 banks or large financial institutions**:

- Exposure to **digital banking modernization or core banking transformation projects**:

- Experience working in **GCC / Middle East banking environments** is an advantage

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: AED30,000.00 - AED40,000.00 per month
