**Position Overview**:
As a Nanny, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive and personalized care to a young child and a newborn baby. This is a rewarding opportunity for passionate individuals who are committed to promoting positive experiences and empowering children to make informed choices.
In the nanny role, you are responsible for any and all domestic activities related to the children under your care. You will educate the children about proper health and personal care habits, such as exercise, diet, and toilet behaviour, and provide assistance as needed. Success in this role will be determined by the ability to provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment in which children can thrive and develop.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Plan meals, prepares food, and feed a young child.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and encourages intellectual development
- Teach and supervises daily living skills including sleep training and potty training.
- Monitor behaviour for irregularities pertaining to health and well-being as well as physical, emotional, and mental development
- Inform parents regularly to understand child behaviour and to plan activities
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in childcare setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No criminal records or past malpractice records.
- Motivated and professional in conduct with passion for working with children
- Understand child psychology and stages of development
- Positive discipline skills for correcting undesired behaviour
