You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, coordinating workflow, and maintaining a safe and productive working environment.
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Team Leadership**: Supervise and motivate a team of automotive technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure productivity and performance targets are met.
2. **Workflow Management**: Coordinate the scheduling and allocation of repair jobs to technicians, ensuring optimal workflow and efficient use of resources.
3. **Quality Assurance**: Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control, conducting regular inspections and checks to ensure repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.
4. **Customer Service**: Interact with customers to understand their automotive repair needs, provide accurate estimates, and address any concerns or queries in a professional and courteous manner.
5. **Inventory Management**: Monitor and manage workshop inventory levels, including parts and supplies, to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained for efficient operations.
6. **Safety Compliance**: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members and customers, adhering to industry regulations and guidelines.
7. **Equipment Maintenance**: Oversee the maintenance and servicing of workshop equipment and tools, scheduling repairs or replacements as necessary to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
8. **Reporting and Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of repair jobs, inventory levels, and staff performance, preparing regular reports for management review.
9. **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives, implementing changes to enhance workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction.
10. **Training and Development**: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge, keeping abreast of new technologies and industry trends.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in automotive repair management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and staff.
- Sound technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in inventory management and scheduling software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements in the automotive repair industry.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive repair management is a plus.
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
