**CAD/BIM Operator**

Sharjah, UAE

Would you enjoy working closely with other Designer/Drafters and Engineers to ensure a coordinated design? Parsons is now hiring a CAD/BIM Operator for our rapidly expanding portfolio of projects. Parsons extensive experience in this field combined with your knowledge and developing technical skills will propel your career forward.

**Project Summary**:
The project is scheduled in phases consists of Enabling Works and New PTB, divided in 11 different main packages including the construction of a new building for Arrivals and Departures, expansion of the existing terminal, Apron works, increase in parking stands, Baggage Handling System and the development of the road network leading to the airport. Parsons’ services include, but not limited to, design and scope management, project management, planning support services, construction management.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare/draft new, modify/update existing drawings and layouts as per engineers, client ideas, vision and requirements.
- Responsible for the production of architectural, civil, structure, MEP and other related drawings and layout.
- Responsible for the proper documentation, storage and safekeeping of all drawings hard copy and soft copy.
- Produce perspective drawings. Prepare graphical presentations and rendering.
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using graphic design software.
- Assist in preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
- Develop and design project presentations.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**Requirements**:

- Must hold a B. Sc. in Architecture / Engineering from a recognized university or college.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as CAD Operator for construction works on large to mega infrastructure/building programs.
- Excellent drafting skills and abilities with all types of drawings (architectural, M&E, Plumbing and Sanitary, Structural and Interior Design works etc.). Ability to interpret all types of drawings, layouts, etc.
- Visual and computer media artist abilities.
- Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in technical report writing as well as oral and written communication skills.
- Professional level in using Graphic Design and video editing software is preferred.
- Must have experience in producing 2D & 3D drawings including BIM / Revit Capabilities.
- Certificate in AutoCAD Drafting (latest version) / BIM from a recognized institution.
- Qualifications in other drawing software (interior design layouts), Photoshop, web-designing & perspective drawings.
