We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated **Safety Officer **to join our team.

**Job Duties**:

- Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
- Provide technical advice and coordination in line with the project OHS Plan, legislation and standards into workgroups as required/directed.
- Establish a structured programme of health & safety training throughout the Company.
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of project ERP (Emergency Response Plan).
- Delivery of project safety induction and other identified safety training.
- Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
- Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
- Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
- Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
- Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
- Coordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures.
- Ensure full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained.
- Assist in Managing the agenda for the Health & Safety Committee meetings. Ensure that all agreed action points are completed within deadlines.
- Keep up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation and communicate relevant changes to the business.
- Participate in weekly/monthly meetings when required to report on relevant health & safety matters.
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree, Mechanical related knowledge is a plus

**Experience**:

- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in mechanical/construction related industry in UAE
- Knowledge of heavy equipment/mobile plants etc.

**Other Requirements**:

- NEBOSH IGC
- IOSH Certification
- Knowledge in MS office
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for conducting training and interacting with clients ( English and Hindi is a must, Arabic is a plus).
- Attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety risks.
- Problem-solving skills to analyze incidents and develop preventive measures.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
