Logistics Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Accountant with at least 2-3 years of experience in accounting in the transportation or logistics industry. Should be familiar with accounting software, have analytical skills, and be able to work with large amounts of data. As a Logistics Accountant in the transportation industry will be handling financial records for transportation companies, creating reports, analyzing financial data and making recommendations to management.
Key responsibilities:
- A Logistics Accountant tracks and records expenses related to transportation, including fuel, maintenance, and labor costs.
- They maintain financial records for individual shipments and entire transportation fleets.
- They work closely with dispatchers and transportation managers to ensure accurate billing and payment for services.
- Logistics Accountants analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for operational improvements.
- They prepare financial statements and reports for management, shareholders, and regulatory agencies.
- They ensure compliance with tax rules and government regulations, such as those related to environmental impact and safety.
- Logistics Accountants manage accounts payable and receivable related to transportation transactions.
- They may assist with budget planning and forecasting for transportation operations.
- They use accounting software and other tools to manage financial data and generate reports.
- Any other task the management may assign
- **UAE driving license and UAE experience is a must**_
- **Preferably with own visa**_
- **Immediate joiners will be preferred**_
**Salary**: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
