In the dynamic landscape of a new competitive data-driven strategy and business model orientation, **we are creating a pivotal** **Chief Data Officer (CDO)** **role**.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, passionate and hands-on leader to shape our data-driven strategy, foster a culture of innovation, and drive our clients' success in the luxury and premium brand sectors.

The CDO must possess solid scientific expertise, a proven track record in execution and collaboration, a business perspective, and transformational/cultural leadership skills.

**About The Role**:
As a member of the CXG Executive Committee and reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a team of 25 data professionals globally. Through internal collaboration with key stakeholders, you will develop and execute data-driven strategies and products aligned with our group's vision and the business needs of our luxury and premium brand clients.

You will be at the forefront of shaping, innovating, and executing our data strategy, management, and analytics. This involves structuring analytics with data science, machine learning, and AI tools, standardizing analytical Intellectual Properties and scalable modelling products. Capturing relevant data sources internally and externally and supporting their interpretation with our teams and clients will be key.

With the support of a senior manager, you will also be responsible for the quality of our data reports for clients, including automation, visualization, and advanced insights like text analytics.

This role also includes designing and implementing robust data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations, and collaborating with our Data Protection Associate and CTO.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Shape, innovate, and execute our data strategy, incorporating data science, machine learning, and AI tools.
- Establish and execute robust data governance strategies and frameworks, ensuring business goals alignment and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Oversee the set-up of an enterprise Data Management Center, optimizing data quality, accessibility, and processes.
- Oversee data capture (namely from external sources), analysis, storage, and retrieval processes, optimizing data quality, accessibility and providing valuable insights.
- Drive innovation in data management and analytics techniques
- Partner with a senior manager of your team on leveraging the data analyst team for improved insights, quality of analysis and proactive development of client report.
- Implement advanced analytics and machine learning techniques for client models and internal initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with selected clients and internal teams to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions. Accompany client pilots on modelling, potentially leading to scalable data science/AI-driven products.
- Train teams to a data culture, foster a continuous learning and development culture and promote their department throughout the organization.
- Build and lead a high-performing data team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Act as a Mentor for their team.

**Requirements**:
**What You Will Bring**:

- A Master/Engineer’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- Proven experience in implementing and executing data strategy and management in rolling out data science products, preferably in market research or luxury/premium brands industries.
- Strong skills in data analysis and visualization tools like SQL and data querying languages, Python, and Tableau.
