Experience Food Quality Control Inspector

As a **Food Safety and Quality Control Inspector**, you will play a critical role in ensuring our food products meet both safety and quality standards. You will work closely with production teams to inspect, test, and monitor products throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company policies. This role is vital to maintaining our commitment to producing safe, high-quality food products for our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect and monitor the entire chocolate production process, from raw materials (e.g., cocoa beans, sugar, milk) to finished chocolate products, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Conduct regular audits of production facilities, including equipment cleanliness, storage conditions, and overall hygiene.
- Verify that chocolate products meet internal quality specifications, including texture, taste, appearance, and shelf-life.
- Perform laboratory tests on ingredients, in-process samples, and final products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and relevant local guidelines specific to the chocolate industry.
- Monitor and control the temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors that affect chocolate production and storage.
- Investigate and report any deviations from quality standards and collaborate with production teams to correct issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Train staff on food safety practices, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols related to chocolate production.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to continuously improve quality control processes and product offerings.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in food safety and quality control, preferably in the chocolate or confectionery industry.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, ISO 22000, etc.) and quality control practices in chocolate production.
- Familiarity with chocolate production equipment, quality testing methods, and sensory analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues in raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to address production issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
- Familiarity with food inspection and testing equipment.
- Certifications in food safety or quality control (e.g., HACCP) are highly desirable.
