As a Sales Associate in Mini-Mart, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of the store, and maximizing sales in Minimart. You will be responsible for assisting customers, handling transactions, maintaining inventory, and keeping the store clean and organized. Your friendly demeanor, product knowledge, and attention to detail will contribute to a positive shopping experience for customers.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
- Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
- Guiding customers by providing information on products.
- Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
- Acquiring in-dept knowledge about products sold in Minimarts, their uses, benefits and relevant information
- Provide highest level of customer service to every customer and improve it;
- Identify customer needs & problems and manage to address them;
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
- Upsell and cross sell products to increase sales and enhance the shopping experience.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and pricing.
- Checking daily cash accounts
- Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
- Receive, unpack, and label merchandise, ensuring the products have accurate pricing and proper display.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies or low-stock items to the manager.
- Arrange and display products in an appealing manner to attract customers.
- Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
- Follow the chiller temperature and fill in a form
- Properly use store equipment such as label machine, chillers, coffee machine, oven, laptops, POS
- Maintain a safe working environment by promptly addressing any hazards or spills.
- Stay updated on health and safety regulations and implement them in daily operations.
- Minimize time & improve quality to take customers’ orders;
- Any other responsibility assigned by the Supervisors.

**Requirement**
- Age: 20-30 y.o.
- Friendly and engaging personality.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- 0-2 years of experience in supermarkets, hypermarkets or mínimarts.
- Basic mathematical skills to calculate totals, change, and discounts.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
- Fast-learning and properly following the processes and guidelines.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently without supervision.

**Salary**: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month

**Experience**:

- supermarkets, hypermarkets or mínimarts: 2 years (required)
