**Job Overview**

**Requirements / Qualifications**:

- Diploma or **Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering** or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum **10 years of experience** in electrical inspection, with a strong focus on **high-rise building projects** in a **consultant capacity**.
- Excellent knowledge of **NEC, IEC, NFPA**, and **UAE/local authority regulations** (e.g., DEWA, DCD).
- Proven ability to interpret and evaluate **electrical shop drawings**, **method statements**, and **technical submittals**.
- Proficiency with **inspection tools**, **electrical testing equipment**, and documentation practices.
- Familiarity with **electrical testing procedures** (e.g., IR, continuity, function testing).
- Strong written and verbal **communication** and **coordination skills**.
- Proficient in **MS Office** and **AutoCAD** (preferred).
- Previous experience working in an **engineering consultancy firm in Dubai** is a **must**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform inspections of all electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, design drawings, and applicable codes.
- Monitor electrical works on-site, ensuring that quality and **safety standards** are consistently upheld.
- Review and verify **cable routing**, **panel installations**, **earthing systems**, **lighting**, **emergency systems**, and **fire alarm integration**.
- Witness and document electrical **testing procedures** including insulation resistance, continuity, loop testing, and function testing.
- Verify that materials delivered to the site align with **approved material submittals** and meet project standards.
- Identify **non-conformances**, issue **NCRs**, and follow up to ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Maintain detailed inspection logs, prepare **daily and weekly reports**, and support project documentation.
- Assist during **testing & commissioning**, and participate in **final inspection and handover processes**.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve site issues efficiently.
- Attend technical meetings and ensure electrical works are completed as per approved program.
