Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes.
- Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems.
- Checking vehicle lighting systems.
- Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the workshop
- Collaborate with the repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs
- Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles -**volvo isuzu & man truck**:

- Performing inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exist and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced.
- Completing preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, and replacing brakes.
- Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly and in compliance with state regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records relating to clients, their vehicles, parts, and service history.

**Mechanic Requirements**:

- High school diploma / ITI - mechanical or automotive or equivalent.
- 2- 5+ years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic - Trucks
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles and follow safety instructions and directions.
- Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 75 Kg
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
