We are currently seeking a GARAGE SUPERVISOR who has extensive experience in logistics and transportation to join our team.

**Position: GARAGE SUPERVISOR**

As Garage Supervisor you will be responsible for managing the overall operations of our workshop, ensuring the efficient functioning of all garage activities.

**Please note that the role is based in our office headquarters at Umm Al Quwain. Previous experience in the garage or in transport industry will be an advantage to you.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assign tasks based on required skills, job urgency, and operational constraints.
- Monitor work progress and ensure quality standards are met.
- Assess causes, costs, and time requirements for additional work and inform Service Advisors accordingly.
- Provide technical guidance and support to workshop technicians.
- Review and approve technicians’ parts requests and coordinate orders with the parts department.
- Ensure efficient use of equipment and minimize wastage of consumables.
- Participate in vehicle testing, especially for complex diagnostics.
- Stay updated on parts availability and coordinate procurement.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop.
- Collaborate with the service manager to secure warranty approvals.
- Evaluate technicians’ performance, maintain records, and update the service manager.
- Lead and motivate the workforce to achieve the company's QHSEMS (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System) objectives.
- Coordinate with the sales department regarding PDIs, stock, and deliveries.
- Implement environmentally friendly and safe work practices.
- Perform duties in compliance with the company’s QHSEMS and assigned responsibilities.
- Undertake additional tasks assigned by the line manager in accordance with qualifications and capabilities.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a heavy vehicle workshop setting.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu is beneficial; Arabic is an advantage.
- Computer literacy.
- Valid driving license.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1.00 - AED10.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
