**Skills Required for Pastry Chefs**:

- Confident in preparing a variety of refined cold pastries with a strong understanding of textures, flavors, and balance.
- Has a keen eye for elegant, modern dessert presentation with great attention to detail in garnishing and final touches.
- Skilled in essential techniques such as piping, glazing, and chocolate decoration, bringing finesse and consistency to every creation.
- Maintains high standards in taste and presentation while staying organized and calm under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- Follows strict food safety and hygiene practices, especially important when working with temperature-sensitive ingredients.
- Brings fresh ideas to seasonal menus, buffet displays, and custom dessert orders.
- Works collaboratively with chefs and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations and timely service.
- Responsible in handling ingredients, managing stock, and maintaining efficiency with mínimal waste.
